This variety of Oolong tea is grown and produced on Mount Ali in Taiwan. Like most teas, the distinct flavor profile is in part created by the specific growing conditions of the mountains elevation, climate, and soil conditions. This fresh tasting oolong tea is brewed to a pale yellow color. Your first invigorating sip is quickly followed by a lightly sweet aftertaste.
Oolong tea is unique in it's flavors in part due to it's processing methods. While made from the same plant as green, and white teas, the leaf typically undergoes heavier withering and oxidation, either by the sun or artificial means. Following oxidation, the leaf is twisted and curled into it's final form. The beaded or curled leaves will fully unfurl in your brewing apparatus when given enough space.
